First Responders Team
Nikki, retired first responder

Nicki was a 911 Dispatcher for police and fire for 18 years before retiring out from PTSD in 2020. She started volunteering and training as an equine specialist in 2022 and her desire is to continue to share this amazing therapy to as many first responders as she can. She is married to a District Fire Chief (for 28 years) and has two daughters in college.
“This work is introspective and unbelievable. It is hard to describe unless you experience it. What the horses are able to bring up, the energy they have, it’s magical.”
She knows that first responders need a confidential, safe place with others who “get it.” This is that place.
